The Government has announced (http://bbc.in/16P9Ffw) cuts of another 10% in the money going to councils to provide vital local services like education, social services and housing. The cuts are part of its misguided austerity drive – forcing the rest of us to pay for the economic crisis caused by the bankers who fund the Tory Party.
The Government has already made cuts of more than a quarter to council budgets. No wonder councils round the country are struggling to cope. So, if you think our local council services in Kemptown need improving, just remember who to blame – the Government supported by local Tory MP, Simon Kirby.
